About Me

My name is Ros Parker and I'm a Chartered Physiotherapist (BSc Hons MCSP and Physio First).

I run a private clinic treating people with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Other treatments include aquatic physiotherapy, acupuncture and dry needling therapy.

I also teach pilates classes to participants who are new to this form of exercise and those with more experience.

I have many years of experience working in the NHS and privately, treating a wide range of problems from sports injuries to rheumatological illnesses. I am friendly, approachable and always looking to improve my skills and knowledge to be able to provide the best care for each person.

My Ethos
To empower people to restore movement and strength so that they enjoy their activities and goals in life

How I got into Physiotherapy:

I've always been interested in the way people think and act so I completed a psychology degree after my 'A' levels.  I was exploring my options on what to do with it when I had a small injury to my back on a dry slope ski lift.  I saw a physiotherapist for help with it and decided that this could be a great career for me. After finding out more and volunteering on a holiday for the disabled I undertook another degree, this time in physiotherapy at Brunel University. This has helped me to explore and work on my own physical weaknesses and has allowed me to help other people to help themselves with their own injuries and problems.
